How it works
The page reads your most recent rated games in the chosen time control (up to 30) from the public Lichess API — casual and aborted games are excluded. From that sample it counts wins, draws and losses, sums the per-game rating changes into a net figure, and averages your opponents' ratings.
The performance rating uses the FIDE method, the same one as our performance rating calculator: average opponent rating plus a dp value looked up from your percentage score (FIDE handbook table 8.1a). Applied to a small online sample it is an honest indicator of current form, not an official rating. For the long-term view of the same account, see player progress.
How to read the result

A performance above your current rating means the sample is gaining you points; below it, you are on a slide — short-term swings are normal either way. To see what one more win would do, try the Elo change calculator.
Frequently asked questions
Which games are counted?
Your most recent rated games in the chosen time control, up to 30, read from the public Lichess API. Casual and aborted games are excluded; if the account has played fewer than 30 rated games, the analysis uses what exists.
How is the performance rating computed?
With the FIDE method: the average rating of your opponents plus a dp value looked up from your percentage score (handbook table 8.1a). Applied to a small online sample it is an indicator of current form, not an official rating.
Why does performance differ from my rating change?
Rating change depends on your own rating before each game; performance rating ignores your rating and only describes the level you played at across the sample. You can gain points while performing below your rating, and vice versa.
Is my username sent anywhere or stored?
The request goes directly from your browser to the Lichess API and nothing is stored; only public game data is read. The username is also excluded from our analytics events.
